AJAX-Powered Features in CoagTrak's Anticoagulation Management Software Optimized with Google Chrome Browser™

NEW WINDSOR, NY -- (Marketwire - September 17, 2008) - Medmatics, LLC, a leading vendor of on-demand, anticoagulation management software for private practices and hospital settings, today announced its support for the Google Chrome Browser, a new open source browser intended to make the Web faster, safer, and easier. As the first anticoagulation management software application with native support for Firefox 3.0 (announced in August), CoagTrak continues to focus on innovation around the latest browser technology and is also the first anticoagulation software to support Google Chrome.

Since it is optimized for Web 2.0, the new Google Chrome Browser enhances the performance speed for AJAX-powered features of CoagTrak, such as list editing, type-ahead lookups, rich text editing, drag-and-drop and quick-add portlets. CoagTrak supports three other Web browsers: Internet Explorer, Firefox and Safari. With the addition of Google Chrome support, CoagTrak continues to provide customers with broad-based freedom of choice when it comes to running their clinical settings and accessing key patient data from anywhere, at any time.

Availability
CoagTrak support for Google Chrome is being rolled out now in phases to customers. Once the rollout is complete in mid-October, all CoagTrak functionality will work with Google Chrome's current release. Google's Chrome Browser, as a new release, is still in beta version and has not yet been certified for full release by Google.
